Coyote Design is based in Hamble near Southampton. We have
been designing, publishing and promoting web sites since 2001. Shaun Finch, the manager, is a Professional Electronic
Engineer by training. He utilises the skills and disciplines of engineering when creating or promoting web sites.
Web Site Design Principle
We have experimented with different web site types
and promotional methods. We have found that the optimum design
method is KIS (Keep It Simple!).
Our sites are designed using HTML and text links. This method
has five advantages;
- HTML sites are
"search engine friendly" this means the major search
engines will highly rank the site.
- Users do not need
additional "plug-ins" to be able to navigate the
web site
- File sizes are
kept to a minimum, thus web site down load speed is very fast.
- It allows for
clear simple design, which makes the web site easier to navigate.
- The set up costs
and hosting offer the best value for money.
What is the point
in having an expensive web site using lots of moving graphics etc
if the search engines can not read it, so do not rank it, it
takes ages to down load and then half the visitors can not navigate
it?
However as you will see from this web site we can include some
moving banners or photos on web pages. These are all optimised
for high quality and fast down load. They provide additional
interest to web pages and make them different from just looking
at a printed page. |
